Why Choose Native Ground

Passion Over Process

This isn't just what we do—it's what we live. Martin brings years of hands-on land management experience from improving his own properties. We understand farms, hunting land, and what property owners actually want from their property.

Quality Results

We focus on the right work, not the biggest jobs. From forestry mulching to trail creation to invasive vegetation control, every project is approached with the same attention to detail and commitment to your land's improvement.

Local & Responsive

Based in Waterloo, IL and serving the St. Louis Metro area. We're accessible, easy to work with, and always available to discuss what your property needs.

What We Do

Forestry Mulching

Remove unwanted trees, brush, and vegetation in one pass. Our forestry mulcher tackles overgrown areas, invasive species, and dense brush—leaving mulch behind as natural ground cover. Ideal for property cleanup, land preparation, and invasive vegetation control.

Martin's Approach to Land Management

Native Ground wasn't born from a business plan. It grew from a personal passion. Martin spent years improving his own farms—brush work, tree removal, food plots, native grass plantings, and invasive species control. What started as personal land management became a realization: other property owners wanted the same thing.

Unlike contractors focused on volume or big commercial jobs, Native Ground specializes in what matters to landowners like you—improving your property for hunting, recreation, or long-term land management. We listen, understand your goals, and deliver results that match your vision.

Customer satisfaction isn't a tagline—it's the foundation of how we work. Every project starts with a detailed on-site meeting so we fully understand what you want and what your property needs. That clarity leads to better quotes, realistic expectations, and projects that exceed them.
